For those wondering, no DAEMON Tools is not freeware all the sudden, DAEMON Tools Lite is the version that is free. DAEMON Tools Lite allows you to play and/or install almost image file on your pc by allowing you to mount an image on their virtual drivers then clicking on the driver and then clicking on the main .exe file to play or install. This is really useful if a friend ripped a game for you in an ISO format and you want to play it without having to burn it to disc first. Or you have a scratched game DVD that the drive reads but won't play. If you can rip the game to ISO form, you can play it using DAEMON Tools Lite. The only downsides to DAEMON Tools Lite are the horrible setup which tries to install a bunch of crap no one wants while trying to change the homepage and the fact it can freeze up your computer when it is first installing the drivers.
